Early Retirement Calculator
About This Calculator
The early retirement calculator is for anyone aiming to stop working before the traditional age. Set your target retirement age — 55, 50, or whatever you are planning for — enter your date of birth, and it shows the date you would reach that age and how long is left until then.
Early retirement is a goal that rewards concrete planning, and a firm date helps. Seeing exactly how many years, months, and days remain turns an aspiration into a target you can work toward, and the total-days figure gives a fine-grained sense of progress. Trying a few different target ages side by side shows how each choice moves your retirement date, which can help you weigh how much earlier you want to finish against the years of saving required.
The date is calculated as your date of birth plus your chosen age in whole years, with leap-day and month-end birthdays handled correctly. The remaining time is then counted from today using real month lengths, so the breakdown is accurate to the day.
To use it, choose your date of birth, set your target retirement age, and press Calculate. Your target retirement date and the time remaining appear instantly, computed privately in your browser with nothing sent anywhere. If you have already reached the age you enter, it tells you when.
This is a date calculator, not financial advice — retiring early has funding implications that only your own planning can address, and official pension ages are set separately by the relevant authority. For standard targets, the retirement date calculator and years until retirement tools work the same way.
How It Works

Formula & Methodology
The result is worked out as follows:
Retirement date = Date of birth + retirement age; Time left = years / months / days until then
Your early-retirement date is your date of birth plus your chosen target age in whole years. Time remaining is the complete years, months, and days from today until that date, with a total-days figure alongside.
