Days From Today Calculator
About This Calculator
The days from today calculator answers one question: what is the date a given number of days from now, or that many days ago? Type any number of days, choose Add to look forward or Subtract to look back, and the result shows the exact calendar date and the day of the week. It starts from today's date automatically, so you do not need to enter anything but the number.
Counting days by hand is error-prone because months are different lengths and the count crosses month and year ends. "45 days from today", "120 days ago" or "75 days from now" each need you to step over several month boundaries, and a single slip moves the date by a day or more. The calculator uses the real calendar, so leap years and 30- or 31-day months are handled for you.
The same tool works for deadlines and planning. A 30-day return window, a 60-day notice period, a 90-day probation, a 100-day plan or a 180-day travel limit are all just a number of days from a starting point. Change the Unit to weeks, months or years for other spans, or edit the start date to count from a day other than today.
For the most common spans there are dedicated pages that open with the answer already shown: 7 days from today, 14 days from today, 15 days from today, 21 days from today, 30 days from today, 45 days from today, 60 days from today, 90 days from today, 100 days from today, 120 days from today, 180 days from today, 3 months from today and 6 months from today. To look backwards, see 30 days ago, 60 days ago, 90 days ago and 365 days ago. For counting from any date, use the add days to date or subtract days from date calculator.
How It Works
- Enter a start date.
- Enter an amount and choose a unit.
- Choose add or subtract, then click “Calculate date”.
- Read the resulting date and its weekday.
Formula & Methodology
The result is worked out as follows:
Result = Start Date ± amount (days / weeks / months / years)
The calculator takes today's date and adds or subtracts the number of days you enter (days and weeks are fixed lengths; months and years follow the calendar, clamping to month end), then reads the weekday of the result.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find the date a number of days from today?
Enter the number of days, choose Add, and press Calculate date. The page starts from today's date, so the result is the calendar date that many days from now, with its weekday.
How do I find the date a number of days ago?
Choose Subtract instead of Add. The calculator counts back from today and shows the date that was that many days ago.
Can I use weeks, months or years instead of days?
Yes. Change the Unit to weeks, months or years. Weeks are 7 days; months and years follow the calendar and clamp to the last day of a shorter month.
